The Software source code is a trade secret of StataCorp, which I am not authorized to access. I will destroy any copies of the Software when I am no longer an employee of the University of Massachusetts or if the University discontinues the software license.

I will not install or permit others to install the software on equipment owned by any other person (including myself) or organization, whether for-profit or non-profit, for any reason. I will not use the software for any commercial purpose. I will use the Software for University of Massachusetts work-related projects only, on University–owned machines. For Stata/SE, I will not install the software on more machines than the number of licenses for which I have registered For Stata/MP, I will not permit more concurrent users than the number for which I have registered. I will not copy or permit copying or access to the Software by any third party.
